Returns, Exchanges & Refunds — MK Souks

MK Souks is an online retailer based in Beirut, Lebanon. This policy applies to purchases placed through mksouks.com for delivery in Lebanon. It is intended to be clear about our return procedures and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under Lebanese law.

Standard Return Policy

We accept returns of damaged, defective, or incorrect products. Return transport for confirmed qualifying product problems is covered by MK Souks where legally required. We do not offer additional voluntary returns or cash refunds solely because a customer changes their mind. However, eligible online purchases are covered by the statutory withdrawal rights explained below. Exchanges of unused products are available under the conditions below.

Change of Mind — Online Purchases

MK Souks does not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds beyond the rights required by law. For eligible online purchases, Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005, as amended by Law No. 81/2018, generally allows consumers to withdraw from a purchase within 10 days after delivery, subject to legal exceptions. To exercise an applicable withdrawal right, please contact us within this period with your order number.

The statutory right may not apply, for example, to goods that have already been used, goods made to the customer's specifications, or products damaged through improper handling by the customer, and other exceptions provided by applicable law. Please keep eligible items unused, uninstalled and in good condition, with original packaging wherever possible.

For a permitted change-of-mind withdrawal after delivery, the customer is responsible for applicable delivery expenses, including the standard $5 delivery charge, and for arranging and paying return transport where permitted by Lebanese law. No additional restocking fee is charged.

Voluntary Exchanges

For unused items, we also offer exchanges requested within 7 days of delivery, subject to product condition, original packaging where reasonably available, and stock availability. The customer pays return delivery costs for voluntary exchanges, unless the product supplied was damaged, defective or incorrect. This optional exchange service does not reduce statutory withdrawal or defect rights.

Damaged, Defective, Incomplete or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect product, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery whenever possible and provide your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging where available. This early-notification request does not remove or shorten your legal rights if you contact us later.

We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy, including repair, replacement, or refund, as required by applicable law. MK Souks covers reasonable return transport costs for confirmed errors, damaged goods or defective items where legally required.

How to Request a Return, Exchange or Refund

Contact MK Souks by WhatsApp at +961 3 648 466 or by email at hello@mksouks.com, quoting your order number, the reason for the request, and photos where relevant. We normally respond within 2 business days with the return or exchange instructions. Please contact us before arranging a return so we can confirm the correct procedure.

Refund Methods and Processing

Once a refund is approved, we normally process it within 5–7 business days after receiving and assessing the eligible returned item, subject to any shorter mandatory deadline under applicable law. For orders originally paid by cash on delivery, approved refunds can be arranged through Whish Money or OMT. For orders paid in cash at our pickup location, an approved refund can be returned in cash at that location by prior arrangement. We will confirm the practical refund method with the customer. Any other applicable statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

Order Cancellations

For cancellation or correction of an order before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible by WhatsApp or email. We will confirm whether the order can be cancelled before dispatch. After dispatch or delivery, the above return and statutory withdrawal rules apply.

Delivery Terms
