How Many 60×60 Wall Panels Do I Need for My Wall?
Short answer: measure your wall’s width and height in metres, multiply them to get the wall area, then divide by 0.36. Each MK Souks wall panel measures 60 × 60 cm, so one panel covers 0.36 m².
Wall width × wall height ÷ 0.36 = number of panels
1. Measure your wall
Measure the full width and height of the area you want to cover, using metres. For a simple rectangular wall, multiply those two numbers to get the total area in square metres.
If you are covering only one section of a wall, measure that section rather than the whole room. Keeping all measurements in metres makes the calculation easier.
For example, a wall that is 2.4 m wide × 2.4 m high has an area of 5.76 m².
2. Convert the wall area into panels
Divide the wall area by 0.36 m², which is the coverage of one 60 × 60 cm panel.
5.76 ÷ 0.36 = 16 panels.
On the MK Souks configurator, the same 2.4 m × 2.4 m wall shows 16 panels. Since each bundle contains 8 panels, that example equals 2 bundles. One bundle covers 2.88 m².
3. What if the number is not exact?
If your calculation produces a fraction of a panel, your planning quantity still needs to account for complete panels. The live configurator is the easiest way to see the recommended order combination for the measurements you enter.
4. Cutting and unusual wall shapes
The area formula is a useful quick estimate, but the final quantity can be affected by cutting at edges or by an unusual wall shape. Corners, narrow sections and non-rectangular areas can make the simple width × height estimate less exact.
Do I need the extra 10%?
No. The 10% spare panels option is optional. The configurator calculates the exact quantity by default. You can turn the spare option on if you want extra panels for cutting mistakes or future repairs.
